What a cool shot. This could be filed under: A Real Bad Ass, or Not A Snowflake.

For those who are interested: (11 Sept. 2010) — NASA astronaut Tracy Caldwell Dyson, Expedition 24 flight engineer, looks through a window in the Cupola of the International Space Station.

Not me. Would like an old VW bus though. Fix it up and travel the country… Sigh – the stuff dreams are made of.

And yes I am aware that the idea of it is way more romantic than the actual doing. None-the-less….

This is why I post climbing pictures every once in awhile. I usually see them at another blog, “Daily Time Waster”, and remember to throw one up. This one however is my youngest and some friends in Mexico on a recent climbing trip. The picture was taken by a British couple on a disposable camera. They went back home, developed the film and sent them a copy in the mail. Hence the retro look. How very cool.

Very Cool.

The “kids” just returned from their big climbing trip in Mexico. On one of the days a 15 pitch ascent was involved. That’s over 1500 feet for those not in the know. This picture is not of them – I stole it from another web site; I think Daily Timewaster (ht). We are all glad they are home safe and back to their routine (read safe) lives.
